The City of Huntsville is planning to redevelop its downtown corridor. The project will connect the downtown, Mill Creek and Lowe Mill communities with greenways and a suspended pedestrian bridge. These three areas are presently separated by two major state and federal roadways: U.S. Route 231 and U.S. Route 431/Alabama 53.
