Maja RosenquistMortenson has promoted Maja Rosenquist to senior vice president. She will continue to lead the firm’s Denver office but also will assume companywide responsibilities. Rosenquist led projects in Seattle, San Francisco and Dallas before moving to Denver in 2002. She assumed leadership of the Denver office in 2012.


Matt MurphyHonnen Equipment Co. has appointed Matt Murphy senior sales manager. Murphy will oversee all John Dean Hirt Jr.Deere construction and forestry sales operations for Colorado and southern Utah. Murphy had previously worked at Caterpillar Inc. and had been the sales manager at Honnen for more than six years. Honnen also has  appointed Dean Hirt Jr. as the new director of product support. Hirt will oversee all parts, service and customer support operations companywide.


Tim KretzschmarSwinerton Builders has promoted Tim Kretzschmar to division manager for the firm’s Colorado operations. He joined Swinerton in 2014 as operations manager. Before that, he was a senior vice president at Q&D’s building division in Sparks, Nev.
 


Robert D. BraunRobert D. Braun has been appointed the new dean of the College of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Colorado Boulder. Braun currently is the David and Andrew Lewis Professor of Space Technology at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
 


Dan HeydlauffFacilities Contracting Inc., Littleton, Colo., has promoted Dan Heydlauff to vice president of construction. Heydlauff joined the firm in 1999 as a project manager and has overseen projects in Colorado, Texas, Arizona, Oklahoma and Louisiana.
 


Sarah SimpsonArchitects Sarah Simpson and Jerico Enriquez have joined Denver’s Bennett Wagner Grody Architects to help lead the firm’s health care practice. Both have more than 20 years of experience in health care design. Enriquez also will manage the sustainable aspects of projects and seek opportunities for innovation.


GE Johnson Construction Co., Denver and Colorado Springs, has hired Mike Dennis as a construction executive. Dennis’ project management experience includes large health care projects, commercial office buildings and hospitality and educational facilities throughout the West and Midwest.


Denver’s Davis Partnership Architects has promoted David Daniel, Joseph Lear, Ann Adams and Wendi Ekborg to principal and Julie Eck, Miguel Seda and Chris Klein to senior associate. The firm has hired architect Ryan Collier to work in its health care practice group.

PCL Construction Enterprises Inc.’s Michael J. Kehoe, vice president of finance, has been appointed to the Mile High United Way Board of Trustees. PCL is a longtime supporter of the charity and has donated more than $12 million to it over the last eight years.
