MKK Consulting Engineers Inc., Denver, has recently promoted several employees, including two branch manager appointments. Angie Huber is now the Greenwood Village branch manager, and Gregg Moon is the new Cheyenne branch manager. Branch managers are responsible for overseeing all branch operations and scheduling. They have been with MKK 12 and 13 years, respectively.

Based in the firm’s Greenwood Village office, Jackie Sciarra joins MKK as business development manager. She is a Metropolitan State College alum with a bachelor’s degree in speech communications who has been involved in the local AEC industry for over five years, working for both architects and subcontractors. Sciarra is an active member of SMPS Colorado and serves on its Communications Committee.

Also new to MKK in the Greenwood Village office are Haven Cassidy and Kate DuMez. Cassidy is a mechanical engineer with a master’s degree in architectural engineering from Kansas State University. She is currently working on residential and cultural projects and also has a background in commercial, tenant improvement, health-care, transportation and education projects.

DuMez started with MKK this summer as an intern focusing on energy modeling and has recently accepted a permanent position. She has a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Dordt College with an emphasis on civil/environmental and mechanical engineering and is currently completing her graduate degree in building systems at CU Boulder.
