While many of our top design firms reported a down year due to pandemic-related uncertainty in 2021, industry-leader Burns & McDonnell significantly improved on their region-leading total from 2020 and continued to innovate in both design and construction despite social distancing and market uncertainty.
2021 was the third year in the last five wherein the Kansas City engineer/architect led the 11-state region in revenue. In all five of those years, the energy market leader was either first or second among reporting firms in our 11-state region.
