Once home to a law firm, this office space was completely demolished to make way for Tru Fru’s new space in downtown Salt Lake City. The office features sweeping 360-degree views of downtown and the surrounding Wasatch and Oquirrh mountain ranges. Since the owner’s branding features curved letters and elements, the office design emulates that. Radiused light fixtures complement a curved glass staircase, paired with rounded glass office fronts.
Despite the design coming in significantly over budget, the contractor worked with the team to better align constructibility while maintaining the design intent, ultimately bringing the planned renovation within budget.
As work progressed, crews had to ensure construction activities did not disrupt the activities of a major global real estate firm operating directly above the space. The team also had to carefully coordinate logistics to work around the building’s outdated and unreliable elevator systems.
Crews delivered the new space after six months of construction on time and within budget in March 2025.
