
Jennifer Johnson has been promoted to president and CEO of Boston-based Nitsch Engineering, a transportation and structural engineer. She succeeds Lisa Brothers, who now is principal and board chair.
Safdie Architects, Boston, has elevated Jeff Huggins to senior partner, expanding the firm’s leadership team to six. Most recently, Huggins led design and development of Surbana Jurong Campus in Singapore—the first business park set in a rainforest—and was project architect for the country’s iconic three high-rise hotel towers at Marina Bay Sands.
Civil and environmental engineer Fuss & O’Neill has promoted Kevin Johnson to president and CEO, succeeding Kevin Grigg, who now is executive adviser. Johnson had been executive vice president of business development.
TMG Construction Corp., a Purcellville, Va., contractor and design-build firm, elevated Jason J. Lynch to president from vice president. He succeeds co-founder Tanya Matthews, who had been in the role since the firm was incorporated in 1992. She now is board chairman.
Professional services firm STV has promoted Marcos Diaz Gonzales to president of its transportation Northeast operating group and John Ponzio to executive vice president of its centers of excellence. Also, Garo Hovnanian joins STV in a newly created role as executive vice president of advisory services. He was a partner at consultant McKinsey & Co. Thomas Lentz has been promoted to vice president, now overseeing the firm’s national safety and security practice.

Kevin Corbett, former CEO of New Jersey Transit, is named a senior fellow at the Rutgers University School of Engineering Center for Advanced Infrastructure and Transportation in New Brunswick, N.J. Appointed by Gov. Phil Murphy (D) in 2018, Corbett remains an agency consultant until Feb. 15. The agency and center have a $1.6-million U.S. Transportation Dept. grant to develop AI-based systems to improve light rail grade crossing safety.
