HOLT CAT has announced two recent promotions. Elaine Hicks has been named senior vice president, chief information officer. Hicks was previously senior director of information technologies. Before joining HOLT CAT, she was director of information services for C.H. Guenther & Son Inc.
Edward Craner has been promoted to senior vice president, strategy and marketing. He has been with HOLT since 2008, most recently as vice president of strategy and marketing. Before joining HOLT CAT, Craner worked for AT&T in sales operations and supply chain management.
Houston-based Kirksey has announced several promotions, including that of Brian Richard, who has been promoted to executive vice president.
Julie Hendricks, Marty Fifer, Melissa O'Neil, Paul Newsoroff, Scott Cutlip and Steve Otto were promoted to vice president.
Brian Gabbard, Brian Lemmon, Kapil Upadhyaya, Liang Wu, Michael Rensing, Russell Wooten and Stacy Odom were promoted to senior associate.
Amanda Mendler, Andrew Tyler, Carrie Conner, Colley Hodges, John Wilkinson, Justin Chu, Nicole Davis and Zach Copeland were promoted to associate.
Scott Cooper has joined HNTB Corp. as national toll practice consultant and vice president in Houston. He has worked on numerous large-scale Houston tolling projects, including overseeing design and construction of the Katy Freeway, the Fort Bend County Toll Road and the Westpark Tollway. Before joining HNTB, Cooper was a business unit manager and vice president at AECOM.
HOK has hired Ian C. Sinnett as vice president and leader of health care in the Gulf Coast region. He joins HOK after 14 years with Perkins+Will, where he was most recently an associate principal managing the firm's health care planning and strategies group in Dallas.
In addition, Jim Halloran has joined HOK's Dallas practice as a senior project interior designer. Halloran comes to HOK from Design Duncan Miller Ullmann, where he was senior designer, interior architecture.
Thornton Tomasetti has promoted several staff in its Dallas office. Jeffery Elliott has been named vice president; Joel Barron and Nicolas Saenz were both promoted to senior associate; Allen LaSala was elevated to project engineer; and Bryan Tyson was promoted to senior engineer.
