The American Lighthouse Foundation (ALF) honored Duncan Mellor, PE with its 2017 Distinguished Lighthouse Community Service Award at its gala in Kennebunkport, ME. on May 7. Every year the organization honors one person who has contributed significantly to the ALF’s mission.
Since 2011, Mellor has donated his engineering and waterfront expertise to upgrade the Whaleback Lighthouse in Kittery, Maine. This project included designing repairs for two granite breakwaters, and a new docking system.
