Nothing tells a story like a picture, so while they're wordsmiths by trade, the editors of ENR and its seven regional publications encourage you to submit entries to ENR's Year In Construction Photo Contest, an annual competition honoring excellence in construction photography.

You can submit a photo snapped anywhere in the world, providing it was taken between Nov. 12, 2011 and Nov. 9, 2012, the deadline for this year's competition.

Whether you submit as an individual or a firm, or as an amateur or a pro, we're looking for dynamic, well composed and aesthetically pleasing images that collectively canvass the world – and the year – in construction.

Photos will be evaluated by a panel of judges from ENR, other McGraw-Hill publications and guests, with the winners featured in the Jan. 14, 2012 edition of ENR, as well as on an online ENR Photo Contest Winners Gallery.

Additionally, all qualified submissions will be available for viewing on ENR.com, once they've been processed.
