The Port of Houston Authority Port Commission approved a $512,502 construction contract to Houston-based Sullivan Land Services for maintenance dredging at Bayport Wharf No. 3. A hydrographic survey showed that silt accumulation has reduced the berthing depth at the wharf. Houston-based KBR was awarded a contract by the Asian Development Bank to prepare for a proposed water sector project in Samoa.
