Suffolk named aviation industry veteran Emery Molnar chief operating officer of West Coast aviation. Based in the company’s Los Angeles office, Molnar will oversee aviation operations, project execution and business development across the Western region. The firm also appointed Kevin Patmon senior vice president of operations for Northern California. Based in San Francisco, Patmon will lead regional growth efforts focused on higher education and aviation, bringing experience from major aviation and advanced-technology projects across the Bay Area and Silicon Valley.
Sacramento-based California Alliance for Jobs appointed Joshua Arce executive director, succeeding longtime leader Michael Quigley. Arce brings experience in workforce development, public policy and labor management relations, most recently serving as San Francisco’s director of workforce development and president of the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission. He will lead the organization’s advocacy efforts on infrastructure investment and job creation across California.
Seattle-based Lease Crutcher Lewis promoted JB Hall to executive vice president of its data centers and advanced technology division. Hall leads the 70-plus-person team, which delivers data center projects across Washington, Oregon, Arizona and Texas.
Skanska promoted Lew Guerrette to regional executive officer for its U.S. Building West region, overseeing operations in Washington, Oregon and California. Guerrette previously served as the executive vice president and general manager for the company’s Washington operations. He succeeds Jim Link, who is retiring after a 41-year career. Skanska also named Don Kowalchuk executive vice president and general manager of its Washington operations in Seattle after 35 years with the company. He previously served as the senior vice president of operations focused on developing, training, recruiting and advocating for Skanska’s field leadership.
Santa Ana, Calif.-based Sukut Construction appointed Eddie Juarez president. Juarez has more than 20 years of heavy civil construction experience and has advanced through multiple leadership roles since joining the company in 2006 as a project engineer. Known for his people-first leadership style, Juarez has built strong relationships across the organization through his focus on employee development, field engagement and safety while helping guide the company’s growth across key markets.
Los Angeles-based Latitude 33 has hired Rebecca Wanders as director of business development. Wanders brings 15 years of experience in design, project management and business development, including roles with Gensler and SmithGroup. She will help expand the firm’s presence in the Southern California market, leveraging expertise in client strategy, team collaboration and project delivery across multiple sectors.
Southern California-based Layton named Jason Mosier executive vice president. Mosier has more than 25 years of construction industry experience and has served in leadership roles focused on strategic growth, client development and project delivery across the region. Most recently, he served as executive vice president and chief commercial officer at MATT Construction. In his new role, Mosier will help expand Layton’s presence in Southern California while strengthening client relationships and pursuing new business opportunities.
