Situated on the 20th and 21st floors of a downtown Los Angeles high-rise, this comprehensive interior renovation created a modern workspace that integrates adaptability and functionality, with an interconnecting staircase across both floors central to the new design.
The office design helps the owner align its teams that were previously split across multiple floors in another tower. With a mix of open-concept areas and private workspaces, the project offers a flexible environment tailored to modern working styles.
Initial permitting delays had the team reevaluating the schedule and implementing precise adjustments to maintain the timeline. Coordinating work across multiple design firms and constant communication among all teams ensured cohesive designs throughout the space.
The original specifications didn’t account for the increased wind load on the north side of the building, so the design team reengineered the window system, increasing the glass sections and specifying new frames to handle the structural demands.
