Accommodating 2,500 vehicles, the expansive 860,000-sq-ft structure features a double-helix ramping system with one-way traffic flow. This design helps reduce travel times and creates a seamless entry and exit experience for motorists.
The integration of kinetic panels adds a dynamic aesthetic element that breaks the visual monotony common to traditional parking structures. By responding to wind and light, the panels create a wave-like effect that merges functionality with an artistic design.
Additionally, brick-clad stair and elevator towers combine to blend the garage structure’s architecture with the surrounding corporate campus, demonstrating a thoughtful approach to contextual integration.
Beyond parking, the site features recreational amenities, including pickleball and basketball courts, walking paths as well as outdoor seating areas. These spaces are designed to foster a sense of community and provide employees with opportunities to unwind and recharge during the workday.

During construction, the proximity to a pristine creek required extensive environmental safeguards that proved critical during two construction seasons of record-breaking rainfall totaling more than 450,000 gallons.
Blasting operations to remove more than 10,000 cu yd of rock also required meticulous planning—including perimeter security and strict schedule management—to prioritize safety for both workers and nearby communities.
An owner-requested accelerated timeline midway through construction prompted the team to rework schedules and optimize efforts. The strategic use of multiple cranes and creative scheduling reinforced the project’s timely delivery without compromising quality or safety.
The Rodgers Builders-led project team achieved a zero recordable injury rate over the course of the 18-month-long project by implementing safety strategies tailored to the site’s particular challenges. Through cross-disciplinary collaboration and efficient resource allocation, the project was completed two months ahead of the original deadline with no recordable injuries over approximately 201,000 work hours.

Located on an operational campus surrounded by a protected waterway, critical infrastructure and a Duke Energy substation, the project required meticulous pre-risk assessments and targeted safety measures. One of the solutions the team introduced to tackle the safety challenges posed by the structure was to develop pedestrian walkways that ran the length of the parking garage on either side of the central ramps, providing a safe, well-marked and dedicated path for pedestrians.
Additionally, the project team fostered a consistent safety culture through daily safety huddles, monthly subcontractor appreciation events and participation in National Construction Safety Week.
A dedicated worker relief area hosted a total of 766 orientations, 3,107 job hazard analyses and 416 safety huddles while also serving as an emergency hub equipped with first aid supplies and safety resources.
