Peter Rutti

DLR Group has appointed senior principal Peter Rutti as the firm’s chief design officer. In this role, Rutti will focus on instilling the firm’s integrated design process in every project team. Based in Phoenix, he previously served as the firm’s Southeast region leader.

 

Bob Binder

The firm also announced that Bob Binder has been named Southwest region leader. In this position, he will manage the operations of a $40-million design practice and 175 design professionals located in Las Vegas, Phoenix, Tucson, Denver and Colorado Springs. Binder joined the firm in 1995 and is based in Denver.



Matthew Denker

In Tempe, Ariz., Sundt Construction’s Transportation Group hired Matthew Denker as a project manager for Arizona. He will provide project management assistance and estimation for the transportation group’s upcoming pursuits. Denker has experience in the administration and construction of major highway and street projects in both the public and private sectors. He has held multiple positions within the construction industry, including estimator, field engineer, project engineer and project manager.

Richard McDonald

Also in Tempe, Sundt hired Richard McDonald as its sustainability director to implement and maintain sustainability initiatives and serve as a sustainable construction expert for the firm. McDonald has over 30 years of experience in environmental leadership and 15 years of experience leading sustainability programs and guiding sustainability policies.



Beau Brush

Ryan Cos. recently announced that it has promoted Beau Brush to vice president of construction operations. Based in Phoenix, Beau will oversee an estimated $350 million worth of construction projects in the Southwest region. Additionally, he will be responsible for growing and developing the firm’s project management and field workforce. He has been with Ryan for nine years.


Mark Mitchell

Adolfson & Peterson Construction recently named Mark Mitchell as vice president and general manager for the company’s Southwest region. He has more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry. He previously served as the mayor of Tempe.

 

 

Terry Doyle

In Albuquerque, Terry Doyle has joined Parametrix as vice president leading the firm’s New Mexico operations, which includes 35 staff providing transportation, environmental and land surveying services. Doyle has 30 years of experience in the public transportation and transit sector, including leading public agencies and guiding regional transportation decisions. He comes to Parametrix from Rio Metro Regional Transit District, where he served as director, managing a $170-million combined rail and bus budget.

Meggan Dugan

Meggan Dugan has been promoted to planning director for SWCA’s Arizona planning practice. Based in Phoenix, she will focus on supporting teams across three Arizona offices, including staff development, and growing planning service lines and clients. Dugan joined SWCA in 2015 as an environmental planner/biologist.
