Located on eight acres, this colorful playground offers areas for climbing, swinging and spinning as well as spaces for more tranquil endeavors.
The $6.6-million project includes a stone amphitheater, artificial turf, shade structures above the equipment, canopies, retaining walls, masonry walls and columns, and exterior site lighting.

Establishing correct grades for the drainage system under the surfacing and artificial turf was a challenge. Another was sequencing playground equipment installation with the installer and concrete contractor.
The Epic was completed in October 2020 and greeted with great community response. After being closed temporarily because of the pandemic, the facility has since reopened.
