In a state that incarcerates more women per capita than any other in the nation, ReMerge offers tools for pregnant women and mothers facing incarceration for nonviolent crimes to transform their lives. The $6.3-million, 16,000-sq-ft office building was designed to enhance ReMerge’s mission and purpose with a wide variety of spaces, including a kitchen and large dining area; a wellness area; a recovery work area; family visitation rooms; group rooms with flexible seating; and dedicated space for participant education and job training. Outdoor areas offer seating areas for small group meetings and family time. The completed facility allows the organization to serve 50% more mothers and families.
