New Mexico State University is reviewing consultant qualifications to provide architectural, engineering and planning services for a $14-million renovation and addition to the existing New Mexico Dept. of Agriculture building in Las Cruces. Flintco is currently reviewing subcontractor bids for the $65- to $85-million Dilkon Health Care Center near Winslow on behalf of the Indian Health Service and the Winslow Indian Health Care Center. The facility will be built under a Title V project agreement with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The project will provide inpatient care, primary care, behavioral health and support services to members of the Navajo Nation and other eligible Native Americans. The city of Peoria is reviewing bids for the $17-million widening of Happy Valley Parkway. Project scope will include roadway lighting, paving, bridge construction and installation of highway signs and guardrails on Happy Valley Parkway between Lake Pleasant Parkway and Loop 303 in northwest suburban Phoenix . Clark County is reviewing bids for improvements to Las Vegas Boulevard between Spring Mountain Road and Sahara Avenue. Expected to cost $30 to $33 million, the approximately 1.5-mile project will improve lighting, paving, sidewalks, sewer and water lines along the northwest Las Vegas Strip between the Wynn Las Vegas and SLS hotels and casinos. The new water line will have a diameter of 24 inches. Communication duct banks will also be installed along with conduit, manholes, splicing vaults and pull boxes. DPR Construction has begun work on the Health Solution Innovation Center for Arizona State University in Phoenix. The $80-million project is part of an alliance between the university and Mayo Clinic and will be located adjacent to the Mayo Clinic Hospital.
