The Georgia International Maritime Trade Center Authority selected Clark Construction as construction manager for its planned $166.1-million expansion of the Savannah International Trade & Convention Center in Savannah. Design work could be completed by summer 2019. The project will add 100,000 sq ft of exhibition space, 42,000 sq ft of ballroom space and 23,000 sq ft of meeting room space. Georgia

Drew Co. is the private developer for the planned Signia Hilton Hotel project at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. The estimated $320-million, 30-story, 1,001-room hotel is expected to include 75,000 sq ft of meeting space and a 25,000-sq-ft ballroom. Construction could start by the end of 2019. North Carolina

The City of Raleigh Construction Management Division is soliciting requests for qualifications from construction management at-risk firms with expertise in the delivery of “iconic, multi-story civic (or similar) facilities with challenging urban site conditions.” The planned project, estimated at $190 million, includes construction of a 20-story building with roughly 420,000 gross sq ft of space above grade, excluding parking, to accommodate 1,400 city staff as well as public-facing functions. The city’s plans envision delivery of the first building at 110 S. McDowell St., the site of the vacant police headquarters facility, which will be demolished. Jack Jennings & Sons is leading construction of the $87-million Radius Apartments project in Orlando. Construction of the 13-story, 395,000-sq-ft tower is expected to commence in March. The building will feature 320 apartment units and 12,000 sq ft of ground-floor retail and office space. Banner Development is the developer.
