The city of Yuma is accepting bids for improvements to the 16th Street and Fourth Avenue intersection. The city values the project at $7.3 million, and bids are due to the owner on Feb. 4 at 2 p.m. MST. The project will consist of dual left-turn lanes and dedicated right-turn lanes at all four legs of the intersection as well as bike lanes. The project also includes water line replacement and upgrades. Plans are available from the owner upon request.
