Trinity River Authority Gets $104 Million for Wastewater Project
The Texas Water Development Board will loan $104.6 million from the Clean Water State Revolving Fund to the Trinity River Authority – Central Regional Wastewater System to finance wastewater system improvements.
The funds will be used to rehabilitate existing buildings and treatment components at the existing 162 million-gallons-per-day wastewater treatment plant, as well as approximately 33,440 linear ft of pipe. The authority also proposes to fund engineering costs pertaining to the planning and design of four additional interceptor projects.
