Lakewood’s Pinkard Construction Co. recently announced that its entire project management and preconstruction/estimating staff has attained LEED professional accreditation from the U.S. Green Building Council.
As a member of the USGBC, Pinkard committed to have every project manager and preconstruction/estimating staff member become a LEED-accredited professional. Last month, the firm exceeded its goal.
The firm has 25 LEED APs, including the entire preconstruction and estimating department, every project manager, six project engineers, the field operations manager, several field personnel and the business development team.
Pinkard is currently constructing two projects pursuing LEED-Gold certification: the $28-million Central Platte Campus for the city and county of Denver, and the $31-million Academic Instruction Building for Colorado State University.
Recently completed LEED-Gold-certified projects include the city of Fort Collins’ Northside Aztlan Community Center and CU-Boulder’s $32.9-million Koebel Building.
