Northeast Indiana Construction Companies Excel In Safety
Building Contractors Association of Northeast Indiana recently announced the winners of its 2010 Safety Excellence Awards. These awards honor northeast Indiana commercial contractors and individuals who demonstrated outstanding performance in promoting worker safety on construction jobsites in 2009.
Zero Injury Award Winners includes BZW Master Painters, K & H Construction, Michael Kinder & Sons, Tecton Corporation and Schmidt Electric.
Top in Category Award Winners included Hagerman Construction Corp., General Contractor – Over 100K Hours; Kreager Brothers Excavating, Heavy Construction – Over 100K Hours.
Zero Lost Time Award Winners included CME Corp., Don R. Fruchey Inc., L-A Electric Inc., Jack Laurie Floors LLC and VFP Fire Systems.
25% Better Than National Recordable Average Award Winners included Ahern Fire Protection, SPS Corp. and Shambaugh & Son, Weigand Construction Co. Inc.
Supervisor Safety Award Winners included Joshua Shearer, Ahern Fire Protection; Aaron Meyer, CME Corp.; Matt Cheney, Fox Contractors Corp.; Josh Taylor, L-A Electric; and George Elonzae, VFP Fire Systems.
