Bury has promoted employees in its Dallas and Austin offices.

Deren Wilcox has been promoted to vice president and director of business development, and Carlee Perez to vice president and controller. Derek Villemez has been promoted to senior planner. Arnold Gonzales Jr. has become a senior project manager and senior associate. Boon Newsom has been promoted to senior project manager and associate. Bobak Tehrany and Gil Gregory are new project managers and associates.

Megan Wanek and Daniel Mahoney have been promoted to senior project managers.

Hayward Baker Inc. has announced promotions at its Houston office. Dennis W. Boehm has been promoted to vice president of technology and client development. He was most recently vice president of the firm's central region. Tyson Deklavs was promoted to area manager. He was previously a senior project manager.

John Riggins recently joined MYCON General Contractors Inc. as vice president of office and industrial services. Previously, Riggins worked at Jordan Foster Construction as vice president of project development.

Jacob Aswad has been promoted from senior project manager to vice president at Rosenberger Construction. Aswad has been with the firm since 2007.

HOK announced a promotion and new hire.

Ben Crawford, a vice president at HOK, has been named senior principal of design in the firm's Dallas office. He relocated to Dallas from HOK's Houston office.

Mark Courville has joined the firm's engineering group as vice president. He most recently led the U.S. East and Latin America Groups for Chevron Business Real Estate Services.

Thomas Newsom has been promoted to senior project manager and a senior associate at Perkins+Will. He joined the firm in 2002 and was most recently the architect-of-record on the 1-million-sq-ft Sky Tower at University Hospital in San Antonio.

Callison has promoted two employees. Brian Fox becomes a director at the firm's Dallas office. Fox is a member of company's global retail practice.

Summer Moon has been promoted to director in the firm's Dallas office. She works in Callison's human resources department.

Matt Pickens has been named operations manager for The Beck Group's Austin, Texas, regional office. Pickens, a 15-year veteran of the company, will manage construction operations in Austin.

LJA Engineering Inc. has announced a series of new hires and promoted an employee in the firm's Houston office.

David Garrett has joined LJA as a senior project manager in the firm's Austin public infrastructure division.

Rick Kronenberger comes to LJA as a senior construction project manager in firm's Houston transportation department.

Olaiz Saenz has joined the firm as a mechanical engineering manager in the firm's Houston midstream division.

LJA hired Shayna Helvey as a project manager in its Houston land division.

The firm also has promoted Charlie Patout to manager of landscape architecture services in the firm's Houston land development division.

Ian Bryant has joined HNTB Corp. as a senior transportation planner and project manager in the firm's Plano, Texas, office. He was previously the deputy project manager on the Association of Central Oklahoma Governments Commuter Corridors Study.
