Robins & Morton ensured the project in Cullman, Ala., was completed ontime, under budget and with no lost-time accidents.

Cullman Regional Medical Center's 5,400-sq-ft expansion and 7,100-sq-ft renovation of its emergency department was intricately phased, with the addition's construction preceding the renovation.

Construction included the addition of a fin canopy in the drop-off driveway and the expansion of the ambulance bay to 1,900 sq ft, boosting capacity from two ambulances to eight. Robins & Morton collaborated with hospital staff to ensure the project was finished on time, under budget, with minimal disruption—and with no lost-time accidents.
