Charles A. Bacon

Bacon, along with Mark Pulsfort, judged this year's safety category. Bacon, along with other chief executives, serves in the CEO Incident & Injury Free Forum. Bacon began his career at Bovis as an assistant superintendent, working his way up to CEO of its North and South America business units. His advocacy to improve safety, which began in 2000, led ENR to name him a Top 25 Newsmaker in 2013.

De Iturriaga has 47 years of experience in design, construction management and business development of major highway, bridge, rail, mass transit, design/build and public-private partnership (PPP) projects. He joined Dragados in 2007 for business development and proposal preparation. Prior to this, de Iturriaga worked for 10 years as Parsons Transportation Group vice president for Latin America, where he monitored construction of PPP and design-build projects in Panama, Argentina, Chile and Brazil.

DePaola is a licensed engineer in 21 states and a member of numerous professional organizations including The American Society of Civil Engineers and The American Concrete Institute. During the past 35 years, he has worked on many projects including the American Airlines Terminal at JFK International Airport and the Bank of America Tower at One Bryant Park.

Lindell has more than 30 years of experience in construction and construction management, construction documentation, contract negotiation and administration as well as permitting and procurement. As a project manager, he has contributed to notable projects for LargeVista and the New York City Dept. of Parks and Recreation. Prior to joining Hill, Lindell was the vice president of design and construction at F.D. Rich Co., where he oversaw major real estate development projects including Trump Parc Stamford .

Pulsfort, along with Charles Bacon, judged this year's safety category. With 40 years of industry experience, Pulsfort is responsible for construction operations as well as monitoring and coordinating activities of staff, safety and labor relations. His most notable projects include the World Trade Center Transportation Hub and Yankee Stadium.

Saikia-Eapen is responsible for taking forward the MTA's vision for sustainability. She previously served as the chief architect at MTA's New York City Transit, where she led the design of new projects in the aftermath of 9/11. She is the founder of PRIA Global Inc., which provides strategic solutions for the built environment.

A founding partner in his firm, Steficek is a leader in New York City's AEC community with a range of work on some of New York's most prominent buildings. His experience includes medical, museum and educational facilities as well as such landmarks as the Woolworth and Empire State buildings.
