Arpino-Shaffer has more than 30 years of experience in design and construction management of complex public and private sector projects. She began her career in 1979 with Perini Corp. on the construction of the Red Line Extension as a construction superintendent. After developing a passion for the transportation industry, Arpino-Shaffer was recruited by the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA), where she spent 15 years in its design and construction department. Arpino-Shaffer spent the last five years as MBTA's director of design and construction, managing its multibillion-dollar expansion and infrastructure reinvestment program. Notable projects under her leadership include the $1.8-billion Green Line Extension Project and the MBTA Blue Line Modernization Project, the Silver Line Bus Rapid Transit Phase I & II, South Station Busway Project, North Station Reconstruction and the Old Colony, Worcester & Newburyport Commuter Rail Extension projects.

Carvalho is an experienced safety director who works closely with Shawmut's subcontractors to develop and enforce the firm's safety programs. He conducts 10- and 30-hour OSHA training classes as well as first aid and safety courses sponsored by the American Red Cross. During a project, Carvalho ensures that all safety, health and environmental laws, codes and regulations are followed by conducting onsite spot inspections and working closely with the project superintendent. He has kept campuses safe throughout such challenging projects as the Brown University Fire Code Upgrades, which spanned 50 buildings, and the Rhode Island School of Design's Fleet Library. He is an active member of the Associated General Contractors of Massachusetts Safety Committee.

Fayette has more than 34 years of experience in the construction industry providing executive leadership and project management support for projects in a diverse range of markets. As employee owner and senior vice president of PC Construction, Fayette oversees the business development and operations efforts associated with the firm's $250-million buildings and facilities business segment, which performs work throughout the Northeast. Fayette provides executive leadership support for associated preconstruction, budgeting and scheduling processes and has maintained responsibility for construction projects totaling more than $600 million.

Story oversees Trinity's project scheduling and coordination, safety and OSHA compliance, permitting and scheduling and training of field staff. He also implements and enforces the firm's safety program, which includes weekly jobsite safety meetings with all subcontractors on site, regular jobsite visits and quarterly superintendents' training. With more than 20 years of experience as a superintendent and carpenter, Story has developed considerable field expertise and is highly skilled at building fast-track, complicated projects. He uses his hands-on approach to management and extensive technical knowledge to advise team members in all facets of building, from issues with existing conditions to scheduling and beyond.
