Explosive growth along the four-lane, divided Keystone Parkway Corridors in Carmel, Ind., not only resulted in snarls, but as many as 200 accidents a year.
The creative roadway solution called for converting Keystone into a four-lane parkway with full access, grade-separated, roundabout interchanges in order to enhance traffic flow while improving safety and access for pedestrians and bicyclists.
