Mary Ann Hopkins Leaves Parsons for Arcadis Global Lead Role
HNTB rehires senior VP in newly created aviation position
Netherlands-based global design giant Arcadis has named Mary Ann Hopkins as executive to lead its Americas unit and, worldwide, its water and environment business, as of Sept. 26. She joins from a previous role as federal business group president at Parsons Corp., where she worked since 1989. Hopkins is based in Washington, D.C.
Arcadis Chairman Niek Hoek says the water-and-environment sector generates most company revenue. Replacing Hopkins at Parsons on an interim basis is Thomas Roell, who remains vice chairman and chief risk adviser. He joined in 2003.
Randy Grosskopf has joined Wilshire Construction, a Los Angeles building contractor, as chief operating officer. He had been senior vice president and Los Angeles region manager for LendLease Corp. Wilshire was founded in 2014 by Joe Wathen, a former project executive at Swinerton Builders and vice presdient at Tishman Construction.
Law firm Nossaman LLP has named Edward Fishman as a partner in its infrastructure practice group, based in Washington, D.C. The group specializes in transportation, logistics and public-private partnrship projects. A former partner at law firm K&L Gates, he also will expand Nossaman’s global compliance practice, the firm says.
Loy Warren has rejoined HNTB Corp. as senior vice president and in the newly-created role of national airfield engineering leader. He had been aviation practice leader at Kimley-Horn & Associates and previously worked at HNTB from 1991 to 2003. Warren now is based in Plano, Texas. HNTB says its current major aviation programs are located at international airports in Dallas/Fort Worth, Orlando, Fla., Denver and Houston.
