COVID-19 / Coronavirus Message

Last Updated:

Like you, we at ENR have been adjusting nearly every aspect of our business operations as we feel the personal, social and professional impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

We've been cheering the reduction in the disease's spread across the New York City area, but we know there is an upswing in other areas of the country. We've chosen the course of action safest for all - making the 55th ENR Award of Excellence Gala a 100% virtual event.

We are excited about the opportunities a virtual event provides to share this incredible series of events with an even wider audience than ever. We are proud to offer an online event portal that features live and on-demand viewing, networking via social media, chats, and message boards, the ability to download important content, a virtual cocktail reception, and so much more!

We will dearly miss celebrating with you in person, but please consider this a sign that we care about you, your colleagues, partners, customers and suppliers in the ENR community. We hold you all in the utmost regard.

Notice to Registrants for the New York City Event

Please look for important follow up communications from BNP Media and Engineering News-Record and related vendors that will include logistical details resulting from the change from an in-person event to a virtual one.

If you are registered to attend the live event, these are your immediate next steps:

  1. Registration fees. You will receive an email from our registration office with options to exchange your current ticket for a virtual one, cancel your current registration, or roll your registration to the 2021 event, taking place April 8-9 in New York City.
  2. Cancel your hotel room. If you made a hotel reservation at any of the participating hotels, please contact the hotel directly to cancel your reservation. We cannot do that on your behalf and the hotel will not do it automatically.
  3. Call your airline. Most airlines are waiving change fees and allowing you to either rebook your ticket for a future flight or providing a voucher for the full amount of the ticket for a future booking.

We value the support and feedback of everyone involved in preparing for the virtual version of this important event. We appreciate your professionalism, patience and understanding during these truly extraordinary times.
