Jacobs, Sundt Win $600M Arizona Highway Project

Jacobs is designing southern Arizona’s largest highway construction project in a design-build partnership with Sundt Construction. The Arizona Dept. of Transportation’s Kino to Country Club project aims to improve traffic flow and safety on Interstate 10, creating a critical link between major highways and local roads, according to a press release from ADOT. The project will expand a three-mile stretch of I-10 in both directions and reconstruct and remove existing interchanges to ease congestion.

DPR Breaks Ground on $250M Hospital Expansion

DPR Construction and Davis Partnership Architects broke ground in October on a $250-million expansion to Denver’s Craig Hospital. The project will add more than 86,000 sq ft to Craig’s campus in its East Building. DPR has been awarded four projects over the next five to seven years as part of Craig Hospital’s master plan. The nationally recognized rehabilitation hospital specializes in neurorehabilitation and research for individuals with spinal cord and brain injury.
