Located within the 50-story One Wall Street, one of the most architecturally significant buildings in Manhattan’s financial district, the two-level, 55,000-sq-ft department store blends Parisian heritage with innovation in a layout that guides visitors through a series of immersive rooms.
The 26-month build-out required close coordination to navigate long lead times, complex logistics and multiple stakeholders across several time zones. Materials were sourced from around the world, including a sculptural staircase fabricated in Chicago, glass-fiber-reinforced gypsum paneling from Toronto and imported stone and tile from Europe.

Custom installations required field templating, mock-ups and a design-assist process to bring the architectural vision to life. The Red Room, one of New York’s most historically significant Art Deco interiors, was transformed into a retail centerpiece without disturbing its original mosaics or 33-ft ceilings.
Freestanding floral sculptures in ecological resin were introduced to complement the space while preserving its architectural integrity.
