The project redefined the standard for toll corridor service facilities by transforming three traditional roadside travel plazas along the 88-mile West Virginia Turnpike into integrated, hospitality-driven destinations.
All three plazas are designed to serve both passenger and commercial vehicle users, with expanded fueling capacity, improved parking layouts and dedicated spaces for trucks, RVs and buses.

The program also includes retail and artisan spaces that promote regional goods and provide opportunities for community engagement.
The Beckley Travel Plaza, the turnpike’s largest and signature destination, offers an immersive grab-and-go food and beverage area, spacious indoor/outdoor dining areas, a walk-up coffee window, EV charging stations and a drive-thru restaurant.
A scenic overlook along a bluff at the Bluestone facility allows visitors to gaze out onto rolling mountains, while the Morton location offers a quiet respite space along one of the state’s few natural trout streams.
