This 85-acre recreational destination blends innovation, inclusivity and thoughtful planning to meet the needs of the rapidly growing town.
Facilities span a broad range of individual and team sports, including 24 lighted pickleball courts, a 5-acre fishing lake, concrete gaming tables and more than 1.5 miles of lighted walking paths.
The three-phase construction effort was carefully sequenced to maximize efficiency and minimize disruptions of multiple concurrent activities surrounding the site, such as underground utility work and other projects that introduced additional crews, equipment and logistical complexity.
To support neighboring development, the contractor allowed its site to be used for parking, office trailers and staging areas—an act of collaboration that helped keep both projects on track despite limited space.
With two schools and a residential community bordering the site, efforts were made to reduce learning distractions and protect extracurricular activities.
Construction was scheduled around school breaks whenever possible, and regular communication kept residents and school staff informed of progress and potential disruptions.
