Webber, a Ferrovial company, hired Lance Simmons as senior vice president of client relations for The Woodlands, Texas-based construction company. He was chief engineer at the Texas Dept. of Transportation, where he oversaw statewide engineering operations and district activities. He was a 30-year agency veteran. At Webber, Simmons will focus on expanding the company’s U.S. market presence.

Dallas-based MYCON General Contractors promoted Ryan Stoll to president. He previously served as partner and senior vice president, overseeing projects across industrial, manufacturing, retail, hospitality, institutional, office and health care markets. During his 18 years with the firm, starting as a high school intern, Stoll has helped drive MYCON’s expansion in the industrial sector, leading several of its most high-profile projects.
Terry Pendergist was hired as chief financial officer at Orangeburg, S.C.-based Evans Management Group, the investment and management office for a vertically integrated parent company of real estate-focused businesses. She had been senior managing director for Greystar’s North America principal business, directing finance, IT and talent functions across investment, development and construction services Pendergist oversaw financial operations for more than 100 development assets valued at $13.1 billion and held a seat on the firm’s executive committee. She was recognized as a 2023 GlobeSt. Woman of Influence in Real Estate Development for her leadership in scaling large, complex operations and serves on the Board of Visitors for Clemson University, her alma mater.

Birmingham, Ala.-based Hoar Construction hired Jimmy Kennedy as vice president to lead its Atlanta division. He was vice president and business unit leader at Batson-Cook Construction, where he spent more than two decades working on major projects including health care facilities for Northside Hospital and the 54-story 550 South Tryon tower in Charlotte.

Spiezle Architectural Group hired Damian Huneycutt as associate principal in of the Charlotte office of the Hamilton, N.J.-headquartered fir. A health care architect with more than 20 years of design experience, he previously worked on health care projects as a client leader for DLR Group.
