Julie Constance has been named business development manager for the Northern Colorado region at Brinkman Construction. Her previous experience includes roles at First American Title and BizWest Media, and she has held leadership positions in the Weld County community, including serving as board chair for both the Weld Community Foundation and the Women’s Fund of Weld County. Constance is currently serving on the board of the High Plains Housing Development Corp.
Burns & McDonnell has announced several leadership promotions in the firm’s Southwest region. Josh Ahrens is the new leader of the firm’s power group. He most recently served as solar engineering manager, leading a national team of engineers in executing solar infrastructure projects across the U.S. Brandon Graves has been promoted to lead both the transmission and distribution and the construction groups. He joined Burns & McDonnell in 2016 as an EPC project manager and served as director of EPC for the transmission and distribution group’s substation and renewables business lines. Matt Williams recently joined the firm as practice manager for the environmental services group in the Southwest region. He brings experience managing complex environmental and water infrastructure projects for a range of clients in the mining, defense, federal and private sectors.
David Scott, director of external affairs at Encore Electric, has been appointed to the Colorado State Apprenticeship Council. In this role, Scott will provide expertise to the State Apprenticeship Agency, which is responsible for developing Colorado’s apprenticeship standards and program plan.
