Walter P Moore has promoted Chad Snyder to managing director for its parking consulting team’s Houston office. The team provides services for planning, designing and operating parking systems nationally and internationally.

Jonathan HowardAtri Sen

WSP has hired Jonathan Howard as its water business lead and Atri Sen as its water growth leader and client account manager. Howard is responsible for the organization’s water practice growth in Texas, while Sen’s role is to oversee client relations, community engagement and project delivery for the city of Houston and Harris County, including assignments from the Harris County Engineering Dept.

Travis Owens

Travis Owens joined Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam Inc. as Central and South Texas transportation leader for the transportation group in its San Antonio office. Owens most recently was a central design team supervisor in the Texas Dept. of Transportation’s San Antonio District.

 

Lucien Gautreau

Sundt Construction hired two engineers to support its efforts in El Paso, Texas. Project engineer Lucien Gautreau will assist with procurement, scheduling and project management at the Eastwood Reservoir and Roberto R. Bustamante Wastewater Treatment Plant projects for El Paso Water. He brings 15 years of experience in heavy industrial oil and gas, hydroelectric and wastewater treatment plants. Diamond Mata was hired as field engineer and will assist with the Advanced Manufacturing and Aerospace Center project for the University of Texas-El Paso.

Kristin D’Strana

CSHQA hired Kristin D’Strana as a BIM manager. She will contribute to leading, coordinating and managing the implementation of BIM and related technology for the firm’s projects. D’Strana brings nearly 20 years of experience with Revit.

Robert Singer has joined the Dallas office of Pape-Dawson Engineers as vice president of commercial land development. Singer joins the firm with 32 years of civil engineering experience in both operational and technical roles.

STV, a professional services firm, has hired Angel Peña as vice president and rail-transit leader of the transportation operating group for its Texas/Mountain region in the Dallas office. Before STV, Peña spent more than 15 years developing business strategies with the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority and the District Dept. of Transportation in Washington, D.C.

Summer Lawton

Summer Lawton was named HNTB Corp.’s South Central Texas office leader and vice president, overseeing offices in Austin, El Paso, Round Rock and San Antonio. Lawton has two decades of experience and joined HNTB in 2008.

Skanska USA Building added Kyle Potts and Mario Melendez to its Dallas office. Potts, previously a senior superintendent with the Walsh Group, was hired as a general superintendent. Melendez, previously with the Beck Group, is a senior project manager.

McCownGordon added Juan F. Rodriguez to its Dallas-Fort Worth team, where he will lead various market sectors. He recently led the Southwest operations of one of the nation’s largest construction management companies.

Bockus Payne, an architecture, interior design and planning firm, promoted Chris Cleburn to managing principal, Mathew Siebert to managing principal, and Collin Fleck to director of design. They will work out of the Oklahoma City office.
