Spanning 11 buildings, this development sits on 31 acres and features seven retail and restaurant buildings, two core and shell office buildings and a pavilion.

Each retail building features concrete footings, block walls and steel joist structures with precast, brick and EIFS exteriors. Both office buildings are steel and concrete with glass, brick, EIFS and precast exteriors.

Meanwhile, the plaza’s owner-designed entertainment system incorporates an LED-embedded glazing system, custom show fountain, custom exterior audio and sitewide LED and decorative lighting arrays.

Completed in June 2022, this first began as a design-build project under another general contractor, but the owner ended that contract, aimed to finish the design and then hired Okland Construction under a design-bid-build delivery. This meant design was incomplete, which caused significant work delays. So the architect agreed to be present on site three to four days a week for the second year of the project, allowing the contractor and trade partners to meet with the design team when needed to resolve issues and keep construction progressing.
