The Clover Creek Solar Field features steel piles that support single-axis movable panels that are designed to follow the sun.

The project provides renewable energy to six cities in the Utah Municipal Power Agency and is expected to generate the power equivalent of providing 25,000 homes with electricity for one year.

The project’s tight schedule compelled the project team to create efficiencies wherever possible, and the team developed proprietary applications to streamline labor tracking as well as real-time material and equipment management.

The completed system is expected to have a 35-year life cycle and provide nearly 200,000 MW hours of energy each year.
