The $24-million convention parking garage supports Oklahoma City Convention Center and Omni Hotel patrons. The six-story structure is cast-in-place concrete with a precast concrete exterior and a curtain wall system with brick veneer.
The 1,099 parking spaces are surrounded by a polycarbonate tile art piece on three sides of the structure that is supported by a cable system. The commissioned art is by British architectural glass artist Martin Donlin. Fifteen different colors make up the design. The artwork was constructed with about 1.2 million individual components and took 1,400 hours to construct.
The project broke ground in October 2019 and was completed on time and on budget in February 2022.
