So far in 2021, new projects “have been slower to get off the ground” than in years past, Reichard says. However, “we are seeing pent-up demand as a result of this slow period,” and projects that were pushed back as a result of the pandemic have been resuming. Health care and commercial and corporate interiors projects have been leading the market so far, he says, adding: “We have seen an uptick in projects and demand since the new year, and we are anticipating a strong resurgence once we’re able to return to some sense of normalcy.”
