Engineering Giant WSP USA Acquires Denver-Based LT Environmental

Engineering consultants WSP USA has acquired LT Environmental Inc. (LTE), a U.S.-based environmental consulting firm. WSP says the acquisition aligns with its 2019-2021 global strategy and expands WSP’s geographic footprint in the West.
LTE is based in Denver, with offices in Texas, New Mexico, North Dakota, Utah and Wyoming. The firm reported just over $5 million in annual revenue for 2018, ranking it in the top 60 design firms in Colorado and Wyoming, according to ENR Mountain States.
LTE consults in the areas of site investigation, remediation, water resources, air quality, and chemical and materials management. The firm supports clients in the midstream oil and gas, real estate development, transportation, public utility, construction and manufacturing sectors, in addition to state and municipal agencies in the western U.S.
“Adding LTE’s talented experts and service expertise to WSP will enable us to fulfill our strategic ambitions in the Rocky Mountain West region, while solidifying our national offering in the water and environment sector,” said Lou Cornell, president and chief executive officer of WSP USA, in a statement.
WSP is a leading provider of services in the water and environment sector.
The companies did not reveal details of the acquisition.
