This three-level, 125,000-sq-ft stadium includes 2,000 chair-back seats, club-level seating and two luxury suites. Austin Commercial’s team clocked 177,000 worker hours on the project with no lost time or recordables.

In addition to Austin’s standard practices that include daily jobsite analyses, weekly project-wide safety meetings and subcontractor-led toolbox meetings, the Austin team frequently participated with the subcontractor’s JSAs.

To minimize safety incidents on the job and avoid impacts to faculty and students on campus during the day, subcontractor Heldenfels Enterprises Inc. erected precast concrete panels at night. This also allowed other trades to complete their work during the day with minimal impact from erection activities.
