Total construction spending expected to increase by nearly 18% this year

“We have a health care division based out of Madison, and that all started from the amount of health care work that we did in Milwaukee,” Metoxen says. “That upped our internal expertise and really allowed us to fan out into the Madison market where Jeannie Cullen-Schultz, who started our heath care focus, is leading our health care group.

“Not only are all the general contractors busy here, but we’re starting to see the impact on subcontractors. A year ago we would get five and six bids in a category. Now we’re getting two,” he adds.
