Crews perform a nighttime concrete placement at the Fort Hood Mission Training Complex project in Texas. MW Builders Inc., Temple, Texas, is building the $63-million project to support simulation-driven mission command training. Completion is expected in early 2020.
This photo was simply meant to be informational, Talley says. “At the time, we used a boom lift to get as high up as we could,” he says. “Using the tools you have around you is part of the problem-solving process photographers need. The photographic goals that night were to capture creative, aesthetic and informational photographs.”
