John Schempf has been named president of The Newtron Group. Schempf has been with the company for 22 years and previously served as vice president, operations.

Wes Mincin was elevated to vice president, general manager of the Baton Rouge office of Newtron subsidiary Triad Electric & Controls. Mincin most recently was assistant general manager.

Steven Grissom was named the firm’s vice president, strategic analysis and technology. Grissom was previously secretary of the Louisiana Dept. of Economic Development.

Durel Braud was promoted to chief information officer at Turner Industries. Braud has worked in the information technology department at Turner for 17 years.

Christopher Bailey was named vice president of Turner’s Paris, Texas, pipe fabrication facility. Bailey previously was divisional vice president of operations at Controls Southeast Inc.

Keith Jackson has joined HNTB as regional business development officer and senior vice president in the firm’s Austin office. Jackson was previously vice president of transportation and infrastructure for another consulting firm.

Sohail Khan joined HNTB as senior project director and vice president, also in Austin.

GE Johnson Construction Co. has promoted Shannon Rogers to senior vice president. He will manage operations, preconstruction and business development for the firm’s central region, which includes Oklahoma, Texas and Kansas.

Robert “Bert” Fulgium is now senior vice president, product support at HOLT CAT. Fulgium previously served as vice president of machine product support.

Sean Lothery was elevated to vice president, product support sales.

David Worsham has been named general manager at HOLT Crane & Equipment in San Antonio.

Mitchel Levitt, business development director, is now senior principal; Kristin Ledet, director of interiors, is now principal; Elizabeth Nilsen Cantavella, chief administrative officer and CFO, is now principal; Johnny Lau, senior architect, is now senior vice president; Don Lawrence, senior health care consultant, is now vice president; Ray Miller, facilities manager, is now a senior associate.

MYCON General Contractors has promoted Dana Walters to vice president of business development.

Jacob Riney joined MYCON as vice president to oversee the firm’s health care, senior living and hospitality projects.

Ted Kollaja joins AECOM’s Dallas office as regional managing principal for the buildings and places business line in the Gulf  and Southwest region.

SmithGroupJJR has hired Elizabeth Robinson to lead the workplace practice studio at the firm’s Dallas office. She joins SmithGroupJJR from Seattle-based Collins Woerman, where she led the interior design practice.

Veteran transportation engineer Paul Green has joined Freese and Nichols to spearhead the firm’s transportation work in Oklahoma. He served 33 years at the Oklahoma Dept. of Transportation, most recently as director of operations.

Michael Baker International has promoted Juan Contreras to director of the company’s Gulf region, consisting of New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas and Louisiana. He most recently served as the office executive for Michael Baker’s Dallas operation.

Matt MacGregor has joined the firm as transportation practice lead in the Dallas office.

Shiver+Associates Architects merged with PBK. John Shiver Jr. was named a principal of PBK and will serve on PBK’s Dallas and Fort Worth management team and will direct PBK’s Fort Worth office.

Todd Spore has been named a partner in PBK’s Dallas office.

Mackenzie McHale has been named an associate partner at Environments for Health (E4H). Before rejoining AGA-E4H, McHale was vice president at HKS.

Dennis Escobar has joined Corgan’s health care team as a senior associate in the Houston office.

Necia E. Bonner has joined Kirksey Architecture as a senior associate and director of health care interiors. Bonner was previously an associate at Inventure Design.

Dylan K. Schopper has joined Finial Group as managing director, responsible for new client development.

Arpit Talati has been appointed business development director for the Texas-Mountain region of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff.

C1S Group has hired Connie Clark as director of human resources. Clark was previously director of human resources for a leading digital signage and video communications company.

C1S has hired Clint Wilson as a construction project manager. He spent the last two years with Dallas-based Vaughn Construction.

Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam Inc. (LAN) is expanding its services in Central Texas by adding facility architecture and engineering services. As a result, the firm has hired Ted Armstrong as a senior project manager and facility project director for the region. Previously, he worked for Jacobs ZATE Engineering as a program director.
