The historic renovation of The Robert Mills Lusher Middle and High School Complex included four structures: a 140,600-sq-ft, U-shaped, four-story building; a 14,600-sq-ft gymnasium; a boiler room building; and a storage building. School remained in session throughout construction, requiring close coordination with the school and a phasing plan that included installing modular classrooms for students while construction was underway. Teams also faced an extremely tight schedule, completing the largest phase in the shortest time frame during the 2015 summer break, when $4.6 million worth of work was put in place in 65 days.
