Portland Public Schools is seeking voter approval in November for several massive updates to schools throughout the city. The state of Washington has named a joint venture between Lease Crutcher Lewis and Clark Construction as general contractor for the planned Washington State Convention Center Expansion. The project is valued at between $700 million and $800 million and has a targeted completion date of Dec. 1, 2020. The project will consist of one building with a parking garage. Sound Transit has selected Mass Electric as general contractor for the installation of a new guidance detection tracking system, communication lines and railroad work on the Northgate/East Link extension.
