Skanska USA began expansions to Terminal 4 at Sky Harbor Airport on July 1. The firm is utilizing prequalified subcontractors for the project, which will add two high-speed elevators, stairs, a family restroom, a pet area and a remodel of office areas in the basement level. Marnell Carrao Associates is reviewing bids for construction of the Marnell Airport CTR MAC Buildings 2 and 3 in Las Vegas. Work was expected to begin on July 1 and will consist of constructing two shell-only buildings from concrete tilt-up panels and storefront glazing. Extensive sitework is also planned throughout the seven-acre site. The project has been valued at between $15 million and $20 million. Nevada

The city of Las Vegas is accepting bids for improvements to Las Vegas Boulevard. The project will include roadway, utility and storm drain work between St. Rose Parkway and Silverado Ranch Boulevard. Contractors must submit bids by July 29 at 2:15 p.m. The project, which is valued at between $28 million and $31 million, is expected to begin on Sept. 1.
