Michigan

UP Health System-Marquette is planning a $200-million replacement facility for the former Marquette General Hospital. Construction manager Skanska was scheduled to release new drawings in March, with bids due April 5 and construction to start mid-May. The project includes three buildings seven stories above grade. Gresham Smith & Partners is the project architect. When UP Health System parent company Duke LifePoint acquired Marquette General Hospital in 2012, a stipulation committed a minimum $300 million in capital improvements over 10 years. Ohio

Ohio Dept. of Transportation has plans to replace the decks of the twin IR-480 bridges over the Cuyahoga River Valley in Valley View and Independence, south of Cleveland. Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) is pushing ahead with work on the 95th Street Terminal Improvement Project.
