Haberberger was tapped by Tarlton Corp. to construct four primary clarifiers, a primary sludge pump station and a grit building.

Led by General Superintendent Phil Jones and Project Manager Jeff Roberts, Haberberger’s team also upgraded the plant’s HVAC system, replacing ductwork and associated pipe valves and fittings.

One of the biggest challenges Haberberger faced during the project was installing 6,000 lineal ft of pre-stressed concrete cylinder pipe 40 ft into the ground.

Some of the pipes were 144 in dia and weighed as much as 80,000 pounds. Haberberger’s team was able to overcome these challenges, however, and complete the project in a little over two years.
